It’s an obvious statement to make, but there are many ways to find your new job or next career move. In my experience – the most successful way of searching is by utilising as many of the job seekers tools as possible. Some will work better than others, and some may not work at all, but it is vital to give yourself that extra chance to land that new role.
So, you need to get that telephone directory out! Seriously, the first step is to make a note of all the companies or organizations you are keen to work for.
You can’t expect to cold call a main number and retell your working history to the receptionist. You need to know exactly who it is you need to speak to.
